Terms of Use

Last updated: Review draft of 15 October 2026 — unpublished

Review version of 15 October 2026 — being finalised. This version does not certify compliance. Outstanding points are expressly identified; an effective date has not been set.

1. Publisher and contact details

212.social is published by Tijani Moutrous, an individual entrepreneur trading as GoNetwork, referred to as the Publisher. For support, reports and personal data: contact@212.social. Full business contact and website hosting details appear in the Legal Notice.

2. Scope and related documents

These Terms cover 212.social and the web features available through its Android application when distributed. They concern visitors, account holders, contributors, Live organisers and professionals using the available features. Account-specific provisions apply to registered members.

The Community Guidelines and child safety standards explain the conduct rules. The Privacy Policy explains personal data processing; it is not blanket consent to that processing. Third-party provider terms do not replace 212.social's own obligations or reduce users' mandatory rights.

Mandatory law prevails. A feature-specific rule takes precedence over these Terms only if clearly brought to your attention and validly accepted where acceptance is required.

3. Acceptance, languages and term

You must be able to read and retain the Terms before creating an account. Your registration request constitutes acceptance of the Terms presented for that registration. Signing in through a third party does not remove this information requirement. The Publisher keeps the information needed to establish the version accepted within the limits of the Privacy Policy and applicable evidence rules.

The Terms are offered in French, English and Arabic. A translation difference cannot deprive you of a mandatory right. Ambiguities are assessed under applicable interpretation rules, including those protecting consumers.

The account agreement is for an indefinite period, with no minimum period of use. You may end it under section 19.

4. Minimum age and minors

Member features are restricted to people aged 15 and over. A lower age for certain forms of consent in a country does not lower 212.social's minimum age. You must have the necessary legal capacity or your legal representative's authorisation when the applicable law requires it for the relevant act.

Do not bypass age restrictions or open an account in a child's name to provide access. If there are serious indications that an account is used by someone under 15, the Publisher may restrict access during proportionate checks and end it if the minimum age is not met, handling the data under applicable law.

Members aged 15–17 benefit from protections for minors. Using conversations or Lives to obtain intimate images, exert pressure, facilitate exploitation or endanger a minor is prohibited. Report concerns through the service or contact@212.social. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

5. Account and security

Provide the information necessary for registration and maintain a usable contact address. Professional information presented as accurate must be accurate. A pseudonym must not impersonate someone or mislead about a qualification, authority or connection with an organisation.

Your account is personal. You may not transfer, sell or share it to bypass controls, or create accounts to evade a sanction. Protect your credentials and report compromise to contact@212.social. Support will never ask for your password. Compromise does not automatically make the account holder liable for every third-party act: the circumstances and each party's legal duties remain relevant.

The Publisher may take temporary protective action where there is a serious risk of compromise, fraud or harm to the service. It must be limited to what is necessary and may be challenged under section 17.

6. Equipment, access and economic terms

Using 212.social currently requires no payment to the Publisher. Your equipment, connection and mobile data charges remain your responsibility. The absence of a price does not exclude statutory protections applying to a digital service.

You need compatible equipment, browser and connectivity. Some features require JavaScript, an active session or technical permissions. Video may use substantial data. Refusing audience measurement does not by itself prevent account access. Camera, microphone and notification permissions concern those features; they are not agreement to all related data processing.

Roles determine available features. Contributor status is not a professional certification, appointment to represent the Publisher or general permission to moderate members.

Any future paid offering would require specific terms and subscription before billing. These Terms authorise neither charges nor automatic conversion of the existing account into a paid subscription.

7. Nature of the service and available information

212.social offers community posts and communication, member relationships, projects, needs and recommendations, a professional directory, events, guides and procedures, a private B2M journey and Lives. Availability and creation rights depend on the feature.

The Publisher's editorial material is distinct from member content and external data. Administrative, mapping, property or event information may change or contain errors. Check with the source or competent organisation before relying on information determining your situation, deadlines or commitments.

The service issues no administrative decision and does not replace legal, tax, medical or financial advice suited to your circumstances. This caution does not permit knowingly false or dangerous editorial information or remove the Publisher's own obligations.

8. Projects, professionals and events

Authors of projects, offers, needs, recommendations or professional listings must honestly describe their role, relevant conditions and commercial interests. Qualifications, authorisations and certifications claimed must be supportable. Using another person's contact details requires the appropriate rights. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement or accreditation by 212.social.

212.social provides no banking, lending, payment, custody, brokerage or personalised investment advisory service. A B2M budget, project amount or simulator is not a return offer, financial approval or investment recommendation. Unlawful financial solicitation, fraudulent fundraising and regulated activity without the required authorisation are prohibited.

Unless the Publisher expressly makes a separate commitment, it is not party to contracts between members or with listed professionals. This does not remove liability for its own acts or information. Check your counterparty's identity, references, insurance and terms before committing or providing documents.

Event organisers are responsible for permissions, information, attendance conditions and safety within their organisation. Indicating attendance on 212.social does not by itself constitute a booking or ticket. Hiding attendance from other members does not erase it from the service's systems.

9. Content, visibility and individual rights

You are responsible for submitted content and must check your rights and selected visibility before posting. Do not disclose private contact details, identity documents, administrative or medical files, intimate images or other confidential information about someone without a proper basis for disclosure.

Settings govern access provided by the service. They cannot guarantee that an authorised recipient never makes a copy. Respect the rights attached to received content: access does not authorise unrestricted redistribution.

Content is not free of rights simply because it is online, received privately or AI-generated. Respect authors and sources. 212.social's editorial and technical elements and third-party components remain subject to their rights and licences.

10. Prohibited content and conduct

The following rules apply throughout the service, including profiles, private messages, posts, links, media, events and Lives. The following are prohibited:

  • threats, harassment, stalking, intimidation, discrimination, incitement to hatred or violence, and unlawful defamation or insults;
  • promoting, preparing or facilitating offences, including terrorism, violence, trafficking and unlawful goods or services;
  • child sexual abuse and exploitation, sexual abuse material, sexualisation, grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion and child trafficking, including artificial or AI-generated depictions and related links;
  • pornography, unlawful dissemination of intimate images and graphic violence without justification compatible with the service's rules;
  • fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, false testimonials and misleading affiliation or qualification claims;
  • infringement of privacy, image rights, correspondence confidentiality, copyright, trade marks and other rights;
  • spam, abusive solicitation, manipulated interactions, knowingly false reports and pressure on others;
  • malware, unlawful data collection, unauthorised access, extraction bypassing access restrictions, deliberate overload and evasion of blocks or sanctions.

A good-faith mistake, disagreement or criticism is not by itself abuse. A rejected report does not establish dishonesty. Restrictions must be justified and proportionate.

11. Messaging and notifications

Messaging provides reading, reaction, archiving, deletion and reporting features under their respective conditions. It is not end-to-end encrypted. Blocking limits the interactions covered by the service without automatically deleting past exchanges or copies already received.

Authorised persons may examine information needed for a report, incident or valid legal request. The service does not claim systematic reading of every conversation or exhaustive abuse detection.

Enabled email notifications may contain the sender's identity and a message excerpt. An available push channel requires the relevant choices and permissions. The Privacy Policy and settings explain its operation. Lock-screen display also depends on your device settings.

12. B2M journey and household

B2M helps prepare a return to Morocco. The questionnaire and its rules produce an assessment and organise a journey: household, destinations, stages, tasks, decisions, document tracking, notes and budget. Reassess results if circumstances change. They guarantee neither feasibility, medical coverage, entitlement, funding, successful relocation nor the absence of unexpected events.

A journey has an owner; other participants have role-based rights. Household records may represent relatives without creating accounts. The questionnaire assessment is restricted to the owner and authorised managers. Respect relatives' rights and any legal authority needed when entering their information.

Some answers and derived information may reveal health data. These Terms are not explicit consent to processing and do not remove the Publisher's duties. An owner's declaration is not automatically each adult relative's consent. The Privacy Policy explains processing, recipients and rights. Requests about your data may be sent to contact@212.social.

Permanently deleting the journey removes its access and relevant data for participants. Deleting the owner's account also deletes the shared journey under the service's chosen rule, after an explicit warning and confirmation. Other participants keep their accounts. A participant leaving or deleting their own account does not delete someone else's journey. Consequences must be shown before confirming an irreversible action.

13. Lives, voice and image

Lives transmit streams to authorised participants according to visibility and stage rights. Only authorised contributors may start them. Camera and microphone use requires the corresponding technical permissions. Experimental status does not reduce legal duties to protect people and provide security.

Do not capture another person or distribute their recording without the required rights. The current service provides no recording or replay of streams, but cannot guarantee that participants make no external recordings.

Authorised people have role-based controls: stage management, speaking restrictions, participant removal or ending a Live to apply the rules. Host moderation does not replace reporting to the Publisher.

14. Licence necessary for operation

You retain your rights in content you own. For the features you request, you grant the Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free authorisation to host, store, technically reproduce, adapt format and communicate content to recipients authorised by those features and settings. It covers necessary technical providers and the territories where authorised operations and access occur.

It is limited to those purposes and their necessary duration. The Publisher does not currently reuse member content to promote 212.social. The licence is neither an ownership transfer nor blanket permission to sell content, train AI models or promote the service using personal or private content. Separate reuse requires appropriate rights and information.

Deletion and justified retention follow section 19 and the Privacy Policy. Technical or legally required retention creates no new publication right. Third-party rights remain applicable: you cannot grant rights you do not hold.

15. Reporting content or behaviour

Use the reporting controls or email contact@212.social, including without an account and without first contacting the author. Provide:

  • a precise location: URL, content/message/Live identifier, pseudonym and date/time where useful;
  • the facts, relevant context and reasons for considering it unlawful or against the rules;
  • a way to reply and your identity where required;
  • confirmation that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations are accurate and complete.

For child sexual abuse or exploitation offences covered by the statutory identity exception, a name and email address are not required. Do not download or attach illegal material: provide references allowing it to be located. Missing information does not prevent examining a report that still identifies danger or manifestly unlawful content.

Where electronic contact details are available, the Publisher acknowledges receipt without undue delay, assesses diligently, may request clarification and informs the reporter of the decision and applicable redress. Acknowledgement is not a decision to remove content.

16. Assessment and moderation measures

The Publisher reviews reports and moderates before or after publication according to the feature. It may publish, request correction, refuse, restrict or remove content. Approval does not certify an author or accuracy. It is not prior review of every message or Live broadcast, or permanent surveillance.

Decisions consider facts, context, seriousness, risks to people, repetition and relevant rights. The Publisher distinguishes unlawful content from breaches of contractual rules. It may warn a member, limit a feature, suspend access or terminate an account where appropriate.

Urgent action without prior warning may be justified by serious risk, gravity or a legal duty. Its scope and duration must be proportionate. Urgency neither removes required subsequent information nor permits arbitrary restrictions.

Restrictions are explained under applicable law, including the action, material facts, grounds and redress. This information may be emailed. Automated means are disclosed where required; statutory exceptions, including protected investigations, remain applicable.

Known manifestly unlawful content is dealt with promptly where required. Enforceable orders follow their own deadlines. Duties to report to authorities and legally preserve information remain applicable.

17. Challenges and redress

You may request free review at contact@212.social, identifying the decision, references and grounds. Reporters may also challenge handling of their report; no prior court action is required.

Review is human and considers new information or errors. Confirmation, amendment or reversal is explained by email where necessary contact details are available. A justified protective measure may remain during review; challenging does not automatically restore content.

This channel does not reduce time limits or guarantees of a statutory redress mechanism where applicable. You retain access to competent courts, authorities or dispute bodies under their own rules. No blanket waiver is required.

18. Data and lawful cooperation

The Privacy Policy sets out data, purposes, recipients, retention, transfers and rights. Optional processing requiring consent has a specific choice. Cookie settings allow audience measurement consent to be refused or withdrawn.

The Publisher may retain or disclose specified information where legislation, a valid order or protection of legal claims justifies it, with restricted access and appropriate duration. It verifies scope and grounds where required. Other members and third parties have no general unrestricted database access.

Requests for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or consent withdrawal go to contact@212.social without passwords. Identity checks must be proportionate. Account deletion does not extinguish rights over residual data.

19. Leaving and treatment of content

You may end your account without termination fees through deletion or by emailing contact@212.social, including without application access. Identity checks may precede irreversible action. Android uninstallation alone does not delete an account or hosted data.

Consequences are explained before confirmation, including deletion of an owner's B2M journey and loss of access for other participants. Login account deletion is irreversible within the application. Associated data and file erasure follows the Privacy Policy and applicable rights.

Collective-interest material, such as certain guides or directory listings, may remain detached from the former profile. Detachment does not establish anonymity. Personal information within text/images may be examined and erased where due. Keeping content creates no licence beyond applicable authorisation.

Independent member copies are not under the Publisher's exclusive material control; this does not remove duties over controlled copies. Statutory records, logs and backups follow the Privacy Policy separately from active data, without promising instantaneous erasure of every copy.

20. Publisher suspension, termination and closure

Action for breaches follows section 16. Seriousness and possible correction are considered; a warning may precede action where circumstances permit. Closure without breach must not be arbitrary.

For justified permanent closure of all or part of the service, affected users receive appropriate notice and an opportunity to recover content to which they are entitled, subject to legal obstacles or justified urgency. Mandatory recovery rights remain. No general duration of experimental feature availability is guaranteed.

Ending the agreement does not extinguish accrued rights, earlier liability or confidentiality and preservation obligations that lawfully survive. It permits no unlimited retention.

21. Availability, updates and incidents

Maintenance, incidents, connection problems and incompatibilities may interrupt the service. The Publisher takes steps required by its supply, security and remediation duties without guaranteeing continuous availability or no incidents.

Security and conformity updates follow applicable law. Necessary device actions and relevant consequences are explained. A fault is not automatically attributed to your equipment or a third-party provider.

Other changes may adapt a feature, improve use or address technical evolution. Where affecting rights or agreed use, the Publisher respects information, durable medium, refusal/termination and other required protections. It does not reserve unrestricted power to change essential features without grounds or information.

22. Statutory guarantees and liability

Mandatory guarantees and liability rules apply within their scope. No payment does not by itself exclude them. Where the French digital services conformity guarantee applies, you may request conformity and exercise the regime's other remedies according to the nature and duration of supply. Related update and evidence rules apply. Claims may be sent to contact@212.social.

The Publisher is responsible for its own acts, commitments and duties under law. A limited-liability regime for user-stored information can be invoked only where its legal conditions are met. These Terms create no general immunity. The Publisher's editorial content is not converted into third-party content merely by declaration.

You are responsible for your acts/content under applicable law, not automatically required to indemnify the Publisher against every third-party claim without fault. Challenging a decision or exercising rights is not an attack on the service.

No clause excludes non-excludable liability or guarantees. No consumer liability cap is based on the service's zero price. Force majeure has only its lawful effects: every outage or supplier failure is not necessarily force majeure.

23. Withdrawal and content recovery

Where a statutory distance-contract withdrawal right applies, you may exercise it within the applicable period, generally fourteen days, by an unambiguous statement to contact@212.social or the legally required method provided. Registration or beginning use is not blanket waiver. Any statutory exception must separately meet its conditions.

You may write: “I withdraw from the 212.social service agreement entered into on [date] for the account associated with [address]. Name, date.” Do not include your password. This model does not restrict other permitted forms. Later account deletion remains distinct from withdrawal.

Content recovery rights on termination, including rights distinct from personal data portability, follow applicable law. Requests can be sent to contact@212.social. That channel does not replace a legally required feature or assert an automatic export currently exists.

24. Changes and general provisions

The Publisher may update the Terms for changes in law, features or service organisation. Version/effective date are stated. Substantial changes are notified sufficiently in advance by appropriate means and durable medium where required. Renewed acceptance is obtained when necessary; continued browsing alone does not accept every amendment.

You may refuse a new obligation requiring agreement and terminate under your rights. Amendments do not retroactively reduce rights or turn Analytics refusal into consent. New mandatory rules follow their own effective-date conditions.

An invalid clause does not disapply other terms where law permits. Non-enforcement does not waive all future action. Technical records/correspondence can be evidence under law without being irrebuttable or unfairly reversing the burden of proof.

25. Complaints, mediation, law and courts

For contractual problems, email contact@212.social with relevant account references and facts. Amicable discussions do not prevent urgent relief, legal action or contacting an authority.

Where consumer mediation applies, you may access the competent mediator free after an unsuccessful written complaint, subject to admissibility rules: [insert the name, address and website of the mediator actually appointed before publication]. This is separate from support and moderation review. No compulsory mediation or arbitration contrary to your rights is imposed.

French law applies subject to mandatory protections applicable to your circumstances, including your country of residence. Distribution in a country does not remove those protections. Courts have jurisdiction under applicable rules; consumers are not forced into exclusive Lyon jurisdiction. The CNIL or another competent authority may be contacted for personal data and other authorities for matters within their remit.
