Frequently asked questions

Good to know

Do I need an account to post a project, a need or a recommendation?

Yes. Posts are reserved for signed-in 212.social members. Signing up is free and this content is only visible to members, not to search engines.

Is my information publicly visible?

No. Projects, needs and recommendations can only be viewed after signing in, in line with each profile’s privacy settings. An account can be made private at any time.

How are published projects checked?

A project first goes into review: only its author and the moderators can see it. A moderator checks that it is real and complies with the charter, then the author is notified of the decision by email.

Does 212.social handle investments or payments?

No. 212.social connects members but collects no funds, offers no financial product and plays no part in agreements made between members.
